Kevin Federline rounded up his children with ex-wife Britney Spears — sons Sean Preston and Jayden James — and his ladyfriend Victoria Prince for a family outing in Chatsworth, CA last week so that the family could pick out an Xmas tree. Here are a few photos from the fun family outing:

These are really cute photos, y’all. I am just amazed at how big both Sean P. and JJ keep growing! And, in all honesty, I must give some credit to their father K-Fed. For the most part, my beef with the man has been over the way he has continued to leech off of his famous and very wealthy ex-wife but for the better part of the last year, he has remained off the radar and seems to have finally settled into a quiet life of fatherhood. Even his relationship with Victoria Prince seems to be stable and happy and, well, I can’t really think of a bad thing to say about either of them. While I have never been an K-Fed fan, there have been glimmers of hope that the guy might turn out to be a decent person … for some time now, it appears that the guy has finally grown his ass up. While it’s unfortunate that the children have to be shuttled back and forth between their parents, I understand the relationship that Britney and Kevin share is one that is friendly enough so that their children never get caught in the middle of any drama. I’m not saying I’m a bona fide Kevin Federline fan but I can now appreciate that he seems to have matured enough to not warrant any personal attacks. I just hope he continues to be the best father he can be to his sons … if that is his main goal, then he’s deffo got a fan in me.

I have safely and happily made my way back home from my frigid and snowy home state of Michigan to the warmer climes of California … and it feels good to be home. Even tho I had a lot of fun in Detroit, I really really REALLY hate the cold and the snow so … yeah, I was itching a bit to get back home. I did manage to bring a bit of my home with me to LA … my mom scrounged up my class rings, yearbooks and other school memorabilia so that I could bring them home with me:

I think I’m finally ready to ask David to go steady with me so … he’ll get to wear my high school class ring if he says yes. I know that many folks have asked for high school photos of me but I just can’t find the strength to embarrass myself like that just yet … maybe some day but, nope, not yet.

So yeah … I’m home again … and for a while ;) Tonight, David and I have tickets to see the Broadway musical Next to Normal which is in production here in LA for a few weeks:

We both saw it on Broadway in NYC last year but not together. He loved the show so much he wanted to see it again so … that’s what we’re doing! Happy Tuesday, y’all … it’s great to be home!!

After spending about 16 hours unconscious yesterday, I am happy to report that I am feeling a smidge better today. I’m not sure what the heck is going on but this is the second time I’ve come down with a 24-hour bug that really knocked me on my bum. Yesterday was a pretty hellacious day and the only way to not suffer was to be asleep. The body aches stopped at around 8PM last night but I slept the rest of the night away in the hopes that I would wake up refreshed. I wouldn’t say I’m feeling refreshed exactly but I am feeling a million times better. I’m deffo on the upswing and that is the best news ever. If I continue to keep feeling better, David and I are still planning to make our way to the Orpheum Theater in downtown LA to see Peaches live in concert:

I’ve been a fan of Peaches for many years now so I’m excited to see her live on stage again. She is performing a show titled Peaches Christ Superstar that I’ve heard is pretty fantastic to see. I’ve deliberately stayed away from any show spoilers so I’m really looking forward to seeing what she’s got in store for us. To be honest, if it weren’t for tonight’s show, I’d deffo be staying my ass in bed … but it’s Peaches. I gotta see this show.

It was a thrilling, emotional ride that saw the very flawed hero (played with Emmy-winning charisma, anger and valor by Kiefer Sutherland) foil numerous nuclear threats and presidential assassination attempts, featured one ill-advised use of a cougar, and depicted a cornucopia of sad deaths (Tony Almeida), shocking resurrections (Tony Almeida) and vile villains (also Tony Almeida!). It immortalized the line, "Dammit, Chloe! There isn't enough time!," provided topical commentary on our world's always shifting political backdrop and changed the way we think about serialized TV. In short, it was an awesome ride.

With the eight and final season -- as well as the complete series -- of "24" hitting DVD tomorrow (December 14), MTV News has scored an exclusive clip from the Season 8 DVD and Blu-ray bonus features. The clip, entitled "Goodbye," offers a behind-the-scenes peek at the series' last day of filming ever.

That final day on set saw Jack and Chloe (Mary Lynn Rajskub) facing off in a room, guns pointed at each other -- and, as the producers note, really brought into focus the simple fact that the relationship between these two characters had become the driving force behind the show. The goodbyes caught on tape in this clip are teary to be sure... but they may not be final. After all, a big-screen "24" movie has long been on Sutherland and series co-creator Joel Surnow's to-do list. And, if there's one thing we've learned over eight seasons of "24," it's that it's very hard to keep Jack Bauer from getting what he wants.

As you can see, the kids were really tired from all the traveling so I’m sure the entire family was happy to be home again. Dancing With The Stars' Karina Smirnoff is engaged to boyfriend Brad Penny, who Karina calls a "Southern Gentleman."

The couple actually got engaged over a month ago, but Karina said they "kept it quiet because my family is in New York and Brad's family is in Oklahoma so we kind of wanted them to come out and celebrate and be a family first before we let the cat out of the bag."

Karina says that Brad and her manager had planned an elaborate proposal:

"We went to this restaurant and [my manager] got on her phone and said 'this guy is killing me,' and got up and walked away. Then Brad walked in and it still didn't register. He got down on one knee and he opened the box and I said, 'Thank you'. I honestly didn't expect it."

Karina attended Tao Las Vegas's five-year anniversary party Saturday night and showed off her new 4.5 carat Asscher Cut diamond engagement ring.

It looks like these scenes with her mother are meant to tie in LC‘s familial ties to her new career. I’m curious to see who the other “characters” will be on her show. MTV is really good at churning out these shows, so I wouldn’t be surprised if LC‘s new TV show hits the airwaves by NY Fashion Week early next year.
